The execution of two men in a burned out car belonging to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Kim DePaola may have been the result of a 'police informer' feud, the mother of one of the victims has told DailyMail.com.
Aaron Anderson, 27, who was driving the car and is one of the two victims is thought to have been accused of 'squealing' on a jailbird who is in jail for attempted murder.
His mother told DailyMail.com that her son had been murdered in a 'revenge' attack and added: 'It looks like it was a hit or something.'
The second man who was murdered was known as 'Tone' and may have been taken out to prevent the killer or killers being identified. Tone had previously been photographed with Anderson.
The pair were in the car which belonged to Kim's son Chris, a pal of the victims, but it was registered to the TV star.
Victims: The two men who died in the murders were Aaron Anderson (right) and his friend, 'Tone' (left), who has not been fully named. Anderson's mom said her son was the intended target and Tone was killed because he was a possible witness
Aaron Anderson, who has an 18-month-old son (pictured), is believed to be one of the two men found shot dead execution-style in a burned out car belonging to DePaola
Grieving: Michele Ryerson, Anderson's mother, said she knew her son had borrowed the DePaola car and one of the bodies inside had similar dental work to her son. She came to see the spot where he died on Monday
Kim DePaola (left with co-star Teresa Giudice in 2013) said Anderson was supposed to drive her son Chris to the airport and then park the Audi. Chris (pictured with his mother, right) was said to have spent the weekend in California
'HORRIFIC' SAYS KIM ABOUT MURDERS
DePaola broke her silence on Monday about the brutal murders to say that Anderson, 27, took Chris to the airport in the Audi on Thursday night.
Speaking exclusively to RadarOnline on Monday, the 56-year-old DePaola, best known as the Bravo show's recurring villainous guest star nicknamed Kim D, insisted that she had nothing to do with the twin killings and confirmed Aaron Anderson's ties to her son.
'People are saying my car was tied to the murder,' she said. 'My car was not tied to anyone. Aaron Anderson, a friend of my son, was supposed to drop my son off at the airport, park the car and not use it. But he used the car and then this horrific accident happened.'
DePaola said she was home in Wayne, New Jersey, and her son was in California at the time of the murders.
Speaking of the two victims, DePaola said: 'Maybe they pissed someone off and they're making a statement. I hope they find these savages.'
She contacted Aaron's family on Sunday night and was aid to be 'devastated' by the slaughter and offered her help. On Monday, she described the killers as 'savages.'
Chris also visited Aaron's home and offered his condolences, it was confirmed.
Detectives have given little information away and are yet to formally identify the victims.
But Michele Ryerson, Anderson's mother, said she knew her son had borrowed the DePaola car and one of the bodies inside had similar dental work to her son.
She added: 'I know that one of them has to be my son. I haven't heard from him and I call him every day. But it is not ringing.
'I did hear that they (police) had somebody downtown and were questioning him and I heard today that they had two more people in custody.
'So they have three people. The person that set them up and the two that ambushed them.'
She said her son had been murdered 'because of jealousy and I knew he had some problems with people over at Riverside' [New Jersey].
She said Aaron, one of four sons, had been accused of 'squealing' on a criminal who had been apprehended for attempted murder.
But she denied that her son, a petty criminal, had given the police the information which is believed to have led to the hit.
'There was a kid that got locked up and they thought my son had squealed on him because he didn't like the kid, whch he didn't.
He's not that type of person to squeal on somebody.
'But I don't know if the guy put a hit on my son or what.
'It is a revenge thing and it's just jealousy. My son was loved by everybody, all his friends loved him.'
She said her son did not own or carry a gun or any other weapon.
'He's not the type of person to carry a gun. If somebody has a problem with him, he would just put up his fists.'
