A Florida woman has been arrested after she took seven different ambulances in just 26 hours in attempts to get prescription painkillers.
Kimberly Keener, 40, of Bradenton, called 911 several times to request transport to several hospitals in Pinellas County, officers say.
She started her pill tour in the early hours of February 9 and visited seven different hospitals through Sunstar Paramedics.
Once there she attempted to 'obtain fraudulent prescription pain medication,' according to an arrest affidavit.
Details concerning what ailments she used or whether her scheme was a success were not revealed.
She was finally apprehended at her final stop, St Petersburg General Hospital, in St Petersburg, at around 4am on February 10.
Keener reportedly admitted to the scheme and was charged with misuse of the 911 service.
It also emerged that she is facing charges for violating her probation following a misdemeanor theft conviction from last month.
She was taken to the county jail where she was locked up on a $5150 bond.
