Interested parties are no doubt watching the Open Championships at Troon, South Ayrshire, which is now in full swing – but they should be aware the apartments come with hefty price tags. 

The two, three and four-bedroom private residences range from £1.3million to £7million – but golf enthusiasts will also get membership to the Duke’s Course, a championship parkland course in the hills above St Andrews which is owned by the Old Course Hotel, for an additional fee.

Hamilton Grand owners who are permanently resident will also be eligible to apply for a Links Ticket – which gives St Andrews residents and local club members rights to play on all seven courses run by The Links Trust, for a minimal annual fee.

Residents can also enjoy a spot of pampering after a long day of golfing, with personal membership for two people at the Old Course Hotel’s Kohler Waters Spa included with the apartments.
